The StealthSwitch

Ever worked in a prison-like cubicle work environment where your boss(es) and co-workers constantly walk by and check your computer screen? It makes for some pretty pesky times switching between windows in order to hide your current game of solitaire or myspace session. There is now an ultimate tool to help all you slackers out there waste time at work. The device is called the StealthSwitch.

StealsthSwitchIt works just like a sewing foot pedal or an auto gas pedal (only it is obviously used in a much different way) and allows users to switch between windows instantly with the simple downward movement of the foot. Imagine being able to instantly offer yourself complete privacy and safety to switch between a full screen game and a programming window. This allows you to hide your private and illegal play time from your bosses while maintaining a workaholic and dependable reputation. The device also can be used to protect sensitive information and works with any application imaginable. Therefore, it also can double as a special device to boost productivity, especially if your work involves switching between windows!

Extra device functions include the option to hide the current open windows, hide all windows or hide all windows except certain ones. Not to mention the device also can mute sound, hide all desktop icons, and password protect the restore program function at all times (meaning even if your boss or co-worker does click the pedal they can’t see hidden applications unless they know the password). The official website even claims the device is easy to install. The price is $39.95, and it can be purchased here.

Not a well thought out product. whats your systems administrator at work going to think of it. its not very descrete. they should have mad it wireless perhaps and disguised it as a ubiquitous office object a stress ball perhaps. one squeeze and the facebook screen is gone

  3. This is a funny gadget, I can’t believe people would put this much effort in to avoiding work though.

At least if you boss ever finds it, you can tell them it’s for foot massages.
