Okay crack-berry freaks, it is time for you to open your eyes and accept the fact that your precious RIM smartphone is falling behind the curve and is now less on the rim of technology and more somewhere in the mundane.
Once upon a time, the RIM operating system was hot dung. Back then, the Blackberry was virtually the only smartphone in existence and thus was famous as the thing. Over time, other smartphones were developed, but the Blackberry remained top dog. Now, after somewhat recent developments, Blackberry is being pushed aside. Below are the primary predators of the modern

On The “Us vs. Them” Mentality
by Jason Lightner August 4th, 2010 | Apple, Cell Phones, Computers, Software
Talking with my roommate recently, we stumbled onto the topic of how in our society we often to want to bunch things into groups. We usually tend to use groups of two, but sometimes we'll lend ourselves to the occasional three. We do this in politics, in sports, in video games and even in soda pop. The most interesting area in which we do this; however, is technology.
Whenever people talk of computers, it's Microsoft vs. Apple, when it's search engines, it's Google vs. Yahoo, when we talk of internet service, it's Comcast vs. Verizon, and when we discuss cell

New found respect for Droid Eris
by Joe Lawrence June 24th, 2010 | Cell Phones
I have to admit, I still cry at night over the loss of my iPhone. For the record, I only got rid of it because AT&T is terrible. We had so many dropped calls, I nicknamed them butter-fingers. So, reluctantly I went with a Droid Eris.

Immediately after the update I noticed all my settings were gone. Not only that, all of my contacts too. For the past five or so years, I have had smart phones and compiled lots of info on each contact of mine. I had business contacts, clients, friends and,

Droid Apps: Stock Time!
by Joe Lawrence May 7th, 2010 | Cell Phones
Ever since I made the difficult decision to abandon my iPhone, I have been stuck in search of a good stock tracking application. Finally, I found one I love with all I need and I even found a way to test my stock buying skills. Check out Stock Quote and Market Millionare.
I love to dabble in stocks and even co-founded an investment company focused on purchasing stocks. Just as most of us cannot check the computer all the time, we look to the cell phone. My iPhone had the best app, which gave me the current stock price, how
