gadget This year at the 2009 CES event in Las Vegas many new and exciting electronic gadgets were unveiled to the public to showcase future product releases. Here are some of the best.

Samsung will be releasing a brand new lineup of Compact digital cameras to ward off the competition, but one of the best will be the new 10.2 megapixel Samsung HZ10W. The HZ will release sometime this spring with an estimated retail price of $299.99. Some of the best features of the device include a 10x optical zoom, an ultra wide angle 24mm lens, a high-resolution 2.7″ display screen, and support for shooting full 720p HD videos.

Audiovox unveiled a digital message board. You know, one of those dry-erase boards you hang on your fridge and scrawl random memos and to-do lists all over. The coolest thing about this message board, however, is that it includes a small 7″ LCD screen that can store up to 125 high resolution photos and will hold video messages, so you can leave a video for your kidswhen they get home from school!

A very cool gadget called Tri-specs combine sstylish sunglasses with bluetooth headphones. That’s right, they are a pair of sunglasses that have bluetooth technology built-in and have earbuds on the end of the ear piece. The best thing about these is that they will work with bluetooth enabled cell phones and also include voice activation support. These specs are available now in stores for $199.99 in several colors: black, white, silver, blue, black-metallic, and a black-white combo.

The Emperor from NovelQuest is a very cool and futuristic looking gaming chair that provides dual touchscreen multi-monitor displays  and full surround sound. The chair looks like some kind of military flight simulator and costs about as much, too. One of these bad boys will set you back 40 G’s.

The Cywee is a trigger-like motion control device for PC gamers. It plugs in via the USB port and allows users to simulate the use of a weapon. The device is  boasted to work with hundreds of previously released and future release game titles. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing yet, nor will the device be released for game consoles.

Panasonic had a very thin OLED plasma television on display that measured a mere 1/3 of an inch thick, which is practically amazing. What makes it even better is that the television is HDTV ready. No word on release dates or retail prices for similar tvs, but this will mean the competition will soon be spitting out their OLED super thin versions. Heavy tvs are a thing of the past and forget flat panel…paper thin is the new in.

Nice collection of gadgets from the show. What is the ‘keyboard’ looking gadget that is in the image?
