Your cubicle life just got more exciting.usb rocket launcher

For around $30.00, and probably less on E-bay, you can purchase a USB Rocket Launcher. Distributed by ThinkGeek, this fun toy is perfect for launching foam rockets at your fellow coworkers. All you have to do is plug it into a USB port and from there, control your rocket launcher from your computer. Some people even have been able to enable a Bluetooth device so that you can use a Wii Remote to control the launcher.

ThinkGeek’s new USB Rocket Launcher has more than twice the range of your typical launchers. This rocket launcher can connect to Windows 2000, XP, or Vista. The launcher has 360 degree horizontal rotation and 45 degrees of vertical rotation. It can fire over six meters, which means, in cubicle warfare, you can control 113 square meters of your workspace. Cubicle warfare just became fantastic for you.

And if a stationary rocket launcher doesn’t cut it for you, how about a USB Rocket Launcher Tank? This tank can climb 30 degree inclines, travel around the place, and shoot foam rockets. It’s not very quiet, so you may not be able to sneak up on your coworkers, but it’s worth a try!

After hearing about the rocket launcher, I watched some videos of it on YouTube and discovered the plethora of (pointless) USB gadgets. Think you have everything that you need gadget-wise? How about a USB Hamster Wheel? The hamster wheel spins with every key you type. Or how about Christmas lights for your computer or a chameleon that moves randomly as it sits on the top of your screen? What about a USB Wine dispenser? There are tons of little USB gadgets out there that are useless but fun to have.

So, here’s a gift for the person who already has everything!
